Project S.A.R.A.H. is a domestic abuse project funded by the New Jersey Department of Law and Public Safety – Stop the Violence Against Women Grants Program in conjunction with Passaic County Women’s Center, the Jewish Family Service division of the Jewish Federation of Greater Clifton/Passaic, private donations and foundations.
Our Mission
Project S.A.R.A.H. targets Jewish women throughout the State of New Jersey. The Project seeks to overcome the cultural, religious, and linguistic barriers that prevent victims from acknowledging the problem of domestic abuse. It aids the Jewish community in finding appropriate ways to access victims’ services.
While our focus is on Orthodox Jewish women , no one in need of help is ever turned away.
