Project S.A.R.A.H. is bringing the Safety Kid

program to a school near you!

The Safety Kid program is a comprehensive school program that teaches children in

a fun and non-threatening way how to keep themselves safe from potential

perpetrators. But much more than that, this program includes components for staff

and parents as well, teaching them how to incorporate the material into their

classrooms and hows, how to spot signs of abuse, and how to react appropriately in

case a disclosure is in fact made.

Based on the National Child Abuse Prevention Network’s recognized abuse

prevention program and adapted for the Orthodox community by the Aleinu

Resource Center of the Jewish Family Service of Los Angeles, the Safety Kid program

is the first of its kind to bring this critical education to Jewish schools across the

country, and now in New Jersey as well through Project S.A.R.A.H.

If you are interested in finding out more about the program or in bringing it to your

school, please contact Project S.A.R.A.H. Further resources online can be found at

Aleinu’s Safety Kid website.
