- I want to give you some feedback on today’s program on safety that my daughter attended. She told me all about it first thing when she got home. She remembered so much – the ABCD model that tells a child what to do in different situations, what to do if you are lost – and someone offers to give you a ride. My daughter also mentioned the sensitive subject of inappropriate touching, and said “Do tell’. She showed me the handouts and told me about the woman who spoke. My daughter thought she must have been a smart person.
This was such a critically important session to offer at this time. I do my best to keep all my children safe, but even given that, this assembly was invaluable. My daughter heard the message, without being scared. I feel like she was empowered.
Thank you for bringing this program to Yavneh. We all have to meet our responsibilities in life, and Yavneh has done that today.
